iSCSI Thin Provisioning
The STR/Nas/i-SCsi provides users virtual hard disks. More capacity, than actually provided in the storage system, is allocated for the respective client computer. If the demand for used capacity exceeds a value, additional, free capacity gets provided from the storage pool

High degree of security
The STR/Nas/i-SCsi enables a safe and individual data management. It is possible to create different RAID volumes, who respective support different RAID modes.
Multiple file systems
The support for multiple file systems, including EXT3, EXT4, XFS and Btrfs, enable a high compatibility. Users can simultaneously use different file systems across multiple RAID volumes. With existing user quotas, it is easy to split and manage the storage space.
Data Guard allows a backup local and remote on RAID volumes and external USB drives. In addition, Data Guard can synchronize data across the network with other NAS systems and servers
HDMI and VGA output Allows the usage of a monitor via HDMI or VGA port. Keyboard and mouse can be connected via USB

The FTP-Server-Function makes files available over services, like DynDNS. With it the parameters and the capacity can be managed over the web-based GUI. The functionality of the NAS-System can be extended afterwards.
The system supports Snapshots with BTRFS.

The systems are deployed as stand-alone units but can be extended with 2 x USB 3.0 and 6 x USB 2.0 ports. At the same time, it is possible to adjust the storage with iSCSI Thin Provisioning perfectly matched for professional applications.

The equipment is designed for mounting in standard 19-inch equipment racks (where this is appropriate). There is also the ability to supply the systems in mid tower format and non-redundant PSUs with an equivalent reduction in price.
